Golf Manor's Village Strategic Plan
Golf Manor residents deserve a responsive government that is working efficiently and effectively for all of us. GM has a proposed strategic plan, developed in coordination with experts from Hamilton County, focusing on these key elements:
*Prosperity & Sustainability *Community *Livability & Affordability *Health, Wellness, & Recreation *Image, Pride, & Partnership *Government Services & Infrastructure *Accountability & Tracking Charlotte, Mel, & Brittney will work to ensure Council adopts and implements the Strategic Plan in ways that bring together and serve ALL of Golf Manor! |

Golf Manor's Non-Discrimination Ordinance
Golf Manor is the first suburban community in Hamilton County to pass a non-discrimination ordinance! This measure ensures equal protection for all of GM residents regardless of "age, race, color, religion, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, family status, military status, sex, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation" and seeks "to promote the public health and welfare of all persons who live in, work in, or visit the Village."
While this is both historic and a wonderful mark of what our community values, GM still has significant work to do to fulfill the promise of the NDO. Charlotte, Mel, & Brittney commit to: *Meeting with the community to address concerns and build partnerships *Filling the positions of the Human Rights Commission, ensuring the members have the support they need to complete their responsibilities |

Community Engagement
Government should be responsive and accountable to its constituents, and this should not stop at the ballot box. Charlotte, Mel, & Brittney came together through community organizing and regularly speak as residents at whole Council and Council committee meetings. They envision a Golf Manor community engagement network that includes:
*Community Conversations outside of Council meetings: a chance to work through issues together in collaborative ways, with Village representatives as equal participants rather than authority figures *Acting on Ideas by using the current Council structures, the Strategic Plan, and the capacity and power of GM residents to build the village we want to pass on to the next generations *Neighbor Support Systems that allow us all to work together to ensure we're all taken care of |
